One of the nation’s largest holiday celebrations, the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival offers family-friendly attractions, concerts by chart-topping musicians, a grand tree-lighting parade, fireworks and so much more. This event promises to boost your holiday spirit and keep you.

DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM: SYSTEM
Dance Theatre of Harlem presents the Midwest premiere of Francesca Harper’s powerful piece, System, along with Robert Garland’s Brahms Variations and Nacho Duato’s Coming Together. Creating cutting-edge contemporary works that use the language of ballet to celebrate African-American culture, this troupe brings new life to the art form of classical ballet. Chicago Sinfonietta joins the company with live music by composer John Adams.

CHICAGO MARKET THANKSGIVING CO-OP POP-UP MARKET
The event will showcase an array of local farmers and producers, with an emphasis on the sort of sustainable, delicious products that Chicago Market will offer once the co-op is open. You’ll find produce, baked goods, cheese, grains, chocolate, cider, ice cream, greens, and flowers. Local, organic turkeys, pumpkin pies and ice cream are available for pre-order and pickup at the event, and you can even get your carving knife sharpened while you shop!

HELIOS JEWELRY EXHIBITION
“Helios,” a new collection of art jewelry named after the Greek god of the sun, will be celebrated by fans of shimmering objects, both celestial and terrestrial alike. Ease the transition from summer into cooler months ahead by discovering the work of noted Evanston artist Eve J. Alfillé–whose designs are known for tackling subjects both large and small.
